Our Mission

Here at Eco Buddy, we’re fighting the good fight to reduce the amount of single-use plastic ending up in our environment. Australian households are throwing out around 1 tonne of plastic waste every minute, so we’re dedicated to turning that plastic waste into sustainable products that can be used for years to come; not just once!
Eco Buddy began in Melbourne, Australia with founders Ori and Liz. While using their own reusable produce bags, the pair were constantly being stopped by other supermarket goers, asking where they got their bags from. With more and more people becoming interested in their bags, Ori and Liz soon realised there were many others out there like them- people who wanted to reduce their plastic waste and live in a more sustainable way. This was great! But the reusable produce bags available at the time were not so great. They were either too small, too flimsy or just inconvenient to use. It was hard to recommend these existing bags. So Ori and Liz decided to design their own bags and give people a better option. Thus Eco Buddy was created.
With many hours and many late nights still ahead, Ori and Liz are working around the clock to bring you the best designed and highest quality reusable products out there. Together, we can reduce our plastic waste and work towards a sustainable future.
