rPET is an acronym for Recycled PolyEthylene Terephtalate. rPET is reused plastics that come from things such as recycled drink bottles. All Eco Buddy rPET products are free from BPA and toxic chemicals and are food safe certified. By purchasing rPET products, you are contributing to the reduction of plastic waste in our environment and creating a sustainable future.

Our produce bags come in two sizes- medium and large. Our medium bag (grey) is 30cm x 30cm whilst our large bags (green) are 30cm x 40cms, and they can hold up to 2kg worth of produce. Our produce bag pouch is 15cm x 20cm- a compact size to keep all your produce bags in one place without clutter.

BPA is known to be a harmful chemical that is added to many different food packaging, drink bottles and cans, which aids in the structural durability of the packet/container. BPA can leak into canned foods if the can has been dented and has also been known to contaminate water in BPA containing bottles if the bottle has been left in the sun. Eco Buddy does not manufacture their products to contain any PBA.

A gentle handwash and line dry in the shade is all these bags need to stay clean! Alternatively, they can be put in the wash on a cold gentle cycle but always line dry, as the bags can melt in the dryer.

Eco Buddy products come with a default 12 month Manufacturer’s Warranty. If there are ever any issues with products purchased from us, we would like to hear about them. Please contact us at info@ecobuddy.com.au with a description of the issue, with a clear image, as well as where and when you purchased the product. We will always do our best to help!

Eco Buddy uses Australia Post to deliver all orders. We process, package and post your order within 24 hours of you placing it. Transit time will depend on the delivery service you choose with Australia Post. Parcel Post usually takes 2-6 days from major city to major city within Australia. Express Post takes 1-2 days.

We do not make any profit from delivery fees. Eco Buddy also offers free delivery on all Australian orders above $50.
Otherwise delivery fees which Australia Post charge, are calculated automatically based on the options you select. As a newly established business we currently pay the same delivery fees as everyone else who uses Australia Post. As our business grows and Australia Post offers discounted delivery, we will pass these discounts on directly to our customers as well.

At Eco Buddy, we responsibly source materials and manufacture our products in China, as manufacturing in Australia would mean our products won’t be cost efficient for you. By supporting Eco Buddy and the businesses who stock our products, we can provide additional jobs to Aussies as our company expands. With the rise and demand of recycling single-use plastics, there is a potential future opportunity for us to manufacture here in Australia whilst keeping our products at an affordable price for everyone.

We try to package all our products as responsibly as possible. We believe in the ‘less is more’ philosophy when it comes to packaging. Currently our packaging protocol consists of recyclable wrapping paper, paper tape with natural/water soluble adhesives, enviro-friendly print labels made from recycled paper with natural/water soluble adhesives. We try to keep plastic usage at zero during the delivery process.
